Our society is contentious. Violence is increasing. We can all do our part by being nicer to each other. WAIT! If we look back over time, many significant innovations and changes occurred as a result of conflict. The struggle for our ideas is a necessary part of the process. Debate, argument, contention (in a professional way of course) is the necessary grease to get things done. Can you argue openly in your company? If not, healthy open debate may be replaced with politically correct stealthy attacks. Which is more productive?
